There are a lot of people who dream of moving to a city like Los Angeles and making a big name for themselves. While it’s great to have a dream like this, before you decide to make the life changing decision to move to a different city, you should at least spend some time in that city and decide if you like it as much as you imagined.
This is exactly what I did last year. I had always thought that I wanted to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actor, but I realized that before I packed up and moved my life out to Los Angeles, I should take a trip there and see if the city was all it was cracked up to be. So, at the beginning of summer last year, I found a great deal online for a ten day trip to Los Angeles.
Although I had a great time during my ten days in Los Angeles, the trip made me realize that it wasn’t someplace where I would want to permanently live. I still have big dreams and goals, but I simply realized that living in Los Angeles isn’t the way for me to achieve them.
