I’m really glad that I have family members who live in Los Angeles. Although I am sure that I would visit Los Angeles regardless of whether or not I had family members who lived there, the fact that I do have family members in Los Angeles makes it easier to take trips there on a regular basis. In addition, because they are so familiar with the area, my family members are able to expose me to certain things in Los Angeles that I would probably never be able to find on my own. While the tourist focused areas of Los Angeles are still interesting, it’s actually a lot more fun to get off the usual visitor path and explore areas of Los Angeles that are only inhabited by the people who actually live there.
If you have been to Los Angeles before, you are already aware of this fact, but if not, having a vehicle is essential for getting around while you are in Los Angeles. If you won’t be staying with someone who will have a vehicle that you can use, then you definitely need to get a car rental to use during your time in Los Angeles.
