I went to Los Angeles for the first time about four or five years ago. When I arrived at the airport, I realized that I was going to need a rental car to get around in during my trip. I don’t know why it hadn’t crossed my mind, but for one reason or another, I simply had not realized ahead of time that I was going to need a rental car during my trip.

I went to one of the rental car companies that was located at the Los Angeles airport, and after waiting in line for what seemed like forever, I was unpleasantly surprised at how much my rental car cost me.

After my trip, I realized the reason they were able to charge so much is because they knew I needed a rental car, so they weren’t going to give me any discounts. I realized that if I wanted to save any money, I was going to need to make my reservation ahead of time.

Fast forward to last month, and I took another trip to Los Angeles. This time around, I didn’t pay much at all for my airport car rental in Los Angeles because I used the Internet to make my reservation ahead of time.
